Another school year is upon us, and we can already tell 2015-2016 is going to be a great year. Returning students: welcome back! We hope your summer went well and that you’re ready to get back to work. As for new students to the college, we want to welcome you to NIU CEET. Regardless of your year in school, whether you’re a new or returning student, or your CEET major, we have tons for you to get involved in here on campus.
Our first event of the academic year is our New Student Reception happening Friday, August 28th from 3pm-5pm in the Engineering Building, room 354. This is a great way to not only learn more about the college, but to also meet other new students.
Don’t worry returning students, we didn’t forget about you. Our annual CEET Welcome Back Picnic will be on Wednesday, September 9thfrom 11am-2pm! As usual, the event is open to all CEET students, we will have FREE FOOD, and many of the student organizations will be actively recruiting so you’ve got all the reasons to go.
Speaking of student organizations, we have over 20 clubs, professional chapters, and competitive teams specifically for our students to join. Check them out on our website, on the HuskieLink website, or even on the social media pages that a lot of the organizations have individually.
