Students and teachers from Belvidere High School visited the CEET as part of the outreach activities of the Renewable Energy project at NIU. While touring the labs in the Department of Engineering Technology in Still Gym, students picked up solar car kits to take back to their schools. They will construct the cars for a completion to be held on 24th October in Anderson Hall, where the students from Belvidere, Hawaitha and Dekalb high schools will race their solar cars for a chance to win a prize.
